Introduction to the cause...
The mission of The Cause is one that is lacking in attention: To promote freethinking,
and to dispel the lies organized religion has tried to rule us with since it's founding.
The measurement of freedom is the measurement of the distance between church and state. It is possible for mankind to de-evolve, it is our mission to make this known and do our best to prevent it.
The herd breeds faster and more frequently than we who have strayed due to their basic opposition to common birth-control practices. Be aware of this,
they must not breed us out by breeding in stupidity. It should be noted that we are not an anti-religious group. We are not opposed to religion in any way, unless it teaches hate, intolerance, and/or bigotry. When any group becomes dogmatic they become dangerous. We are strongly opposed to religious interferance in education and politics, and we will always speak out against it. Every human being is free to be religious or not, to try to push prayer and the like into the government and into public education is only an attempt to force others to believe that which they do not. Roosevelt said that there is nothing to fear but fear itself, and he was right. The greatest current threat to our way of life is atheophobia. Read more about this at Positive Atheism. We, as a people, need to work to destroy this absurd fear. We must stand up and let it be known that politicians such as President Reagan and President Bush were wrong when they said that we can't be trusted, and that we shouldn't be citizens. Stand up for your constitutionally protected rights!
